Team Falcons Reunites m0NESY & NiKo In True Superteam

At the start of 2025, Team Falcons built a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) superteam around Bosnian rifler Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač. The transfer of NiKo from G2 Esports to Team Falcons was the biggest roster move in recent memory. There were previously rumors that Team Falcons wanted to acquire the young prodigy AWPer, Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov, but he wasn't for sale.

That has clearly changed, as in a shock move following their dominating win at PGL Bucharest 2025, it has been confirmed that G2 Esports sold m0NESY to Team Falcons. This was confirmed by the G2 Esports CEO, 

Rumors are true. We have decided to accept the trade of our young goat of CS. I can only ask you to direct your feedback to me and not to the CS management, staff or players as this was a decision on org-level.

m0NESY is, of course, one of the best players in the world. The young star is considered up there with the likes of Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, and we can't help but wonder how G2 could possibly replace him. 

Taking to Telegram (as translated by HLTV), m0NESY gave a short message in Russian, stating:

Sorry, that's all. Thanks to everyone who supported G2 and me all this time. It was a stage that made me stronger. [They are] people who will remain in my memory forever. The team that was home, a second family. Thank you for everything.

The organization's roster is now even stronger. In fact, on paper, I would put Team Falcons as a top-three team, alongside Spirit and Vitality. Just look at the players!
