Minecraft Dungeons and Dragons DLC Gameplay
Minecraft Dungeons And Dragons Classes
The new Dungeons and Dragons DLC will introduce classes for players to choose from, ranging from Barbarian to Wizard, Rogue, and Paladin. Players' classes will affect the way they progress through the DLC gameplay-wise, empowering them to perform better in certain situations than others, thanks to each class's unique abilities and strengths. Just like in the tabletop edition of Dungeons and Dragons, players can modify their skills and move around skill points as they please.
Skills And Skill Checks
If you've ever felt the thrill of rolling a D20 in the tabletop edition of Dungeons and Dragons, you can now feel that same excitement when talking to NPCs in Minecraft. The DLC's NPCs will have special interactions that will have you roll a die, changing the result of the interaction altogether depending on what number you roll.
Minecraft Dungeons And Dragons DLC Locations
Players will be able to explore a total of ten or more locations from the Forgotten Realms in Minecraft, including Icewind Dale and Candlekeep. These locations will serve as hubs where players can explore and talk to NPCs between quests, allowing for a more immersive experience.
Minecraft Dungeons And Dragons DLC Monsters
What would Dungeons and Dragons be without its iconic monsters, ranging from dragons to goblins and more? The upcoming DLC will bring these creatures into Minecraft, even allowing players to fight dragons (other than the Ender Dragon!).
Minecraft Dungeons And Dragons DLC Spellcasting
The DLC will introduce a unique spellcasting system to Minecraft, allowing players to cast spells directly from the Dungeons and Dragons universe. In the trailer, the team showcased some of the available spells, including the Fireball, which will create a ball of fire that damages enemies in the nearby range.
That's about it for what you can expect from the Dungeons and Dragons Minecraft DLC; there's a lot in store for fans in this content pack, so stay tuned for more information and guides closer to the DLC's release date!
