Minecraft Movie Is Coming To Theatres In 2025

Mojang has collaborated with Warner Bros. to announce Minecraft Movie scheduled to release on April 4, 2025 in theatres. It will be an action-adventure movie and its first teaser is already out.

Directed by Jared Hess and written by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer, Minecraft Movie features a star cast of Jason Momoa and Jack Black alongside Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge.

In the trailer, we get a look at the Minecraft world where the actors will be facing the challenges against the mobs like zombies, piglins, and more.

Talking about the plot, there are four misfits who are struggling with their lives get sucked into a portal into the Overworld. Their goal is to go back home but they will have to go through multiple dangers to complete a magical quest with their unique abilities.
