The popular pixelated game from Mojang Studios, Minecraft, will soon receive its newest version 1.20 update, with one of three new mobs expected to join the game: the Sniffer, Rascal, or Tuff Golem.
In addition, Minecraft players will be able to vote for their favorite mob starting 14th October 2022 at noon PDT. Furthermore, Mojang has introduced a new voting system that makes casting their Minecraft mob vote easier and more accessible.
The result of the votes will be announced during Minecraft Live the following day, keeping the results a surprise until the new mob is revealed in the show. That being said, here's how to vote for the new Minecraft mobs.

Mojang's decision to allow fans to vote is to give them more control over what they can see in the game. Here are the new mobs for the new Minecraft 1.20 update:
Rascal
Players can find the Rascal mob in the mines; it loves to play hide-and-seek. This mysterious mob is located far below the ground, deep within the mineshafts of Minecraft. It can be found below Y=0. If players find a Rascal more than three times, it will gift them an Enchanted Pickaxe.
Sniffer
The Sniffer mob is an ancient species that can only be found in ruins underwater; Minecraft players can find them as eggs, and they eventually grow into full-fledged adults. In addition, the Sniffer can find long-lost seeds that can grow into unique plants in Minecraft.
Tuff Golem
The Tuff Golem mob is a moving statue that can hold and display any item you give it. When this mob wakes from its slumber, it will pick up any random item if it doesn't have one already. The Tuff Golem is a mob that players will need to build; it could be of snow or iron, or any other material they choose.
How To Vote For Minecraft Mobs In 2022
Previously, voting for the new Minecraft Mobs was done on Twitter. However, Mojang has since changed the way of voting works, providing three different methods for players to cast their Minecraft mob vote.
In particular, players can vote through the Minecraft Launcher or Minecraft.net on the official website. Otherwise, they can vote via the special Bedrock server.
In each case, players must sign in to their Microsoft account to ensure the voting process is safe and fair for all other players. Voting will open on 14th October 2022 at noon PDT and will stay open for 24 hours.
It should also be noted that Minecraft players can change their vote as often as they like before voting closes. And that concludes our guide on all the new mobs and how to vote for them ahead of the Minecraft 1.20 update.
