Minecraft 1.20 update is all set to release this year in 2023, as Mojang announced during Minecraft Live 2022, and in their recent Minecraft Monthly episode, they have revealed that it will be called Trails & Tales. The update's name represents "the journey that Minecraft takes us on, and the unique stories that each of us bring back." While the exact release date is yet to be revealed, we got a look at the features coming with the update.
Sniffers and Cherry Blossom's biome will be a part of the Minecraft 1.20, Trails & Tales update, and along with this, Archeology will also be introduced. These features are available to try in the snapshot and beta version of the game. Archeology will let you discover buried ruins and mysterious structures in desert areas. You will be able to use the new brush tool to extract pottery shards with an image painted on them that will reveal some untold stories.
Sniffer mob will be coming to Minecraft 1.20, and its babies will be called Snifflet. Its ability will be to sniff out unique seeds that can grow into majestic plants. The Cherry Blossom's biome will be a rare one that will feature cherry tree wood sets, samplings, and pink flower carpet blocks.
