Marvel's Midnight Suns Release Date and Pre-order Details Leaked

Release date and Pre-order details regarding 2K Games' upcoming Marvel's Midnight Suns have surfaced online, giving us a better look at all the different editions along with the release date. Marvel's Midnight Suns is an upcoming game featuring well-known comic book characters from multiple Marvel comic books, such as Midnight Sons, Avengers, X-Men, and Runaways.

Firaxis Games, the studio behind the Civilization and XCOM series of turn-based tactical strategy games are heading the development on this one in collaboration with Marvel Games, with 2K Games acting as a publisher. The game was delayed last year to the second half of 2022, and with new release date and pre-order details now being leaked, it seems as if the game is finally ready to launch this year. Marvel's Midnight Suns Release Date and Pre-order

The second half of 2022 seems like it's going to be packed with game releases and we might get to see Marvel's Midnight Suns getting added to the upcoming release roster. A new leak has surfaced online which hints at Marvel's Midnight Suns pre-order date as well as the different editions planned for launch.

The leak comes via Nils Ahrensmeier, who, in one of their recent Twitter post states that Marvel's Midnight Suns will release on 6th October 2022, and would be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While a Nintendo Switch version of the game was officially announced last year, Ahrensmeier hasn’t mentioned any details surrounding it.

The leak also suggests that Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch will be a part of the game’s roster of playable superheroes. Currently, only nine heroes have been officially confirmed for the game (in addition to the newly created protagonist): Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Blade, Ghost Rider, Magik, and Nico Minoru.

As per Ahrensmeier's tweet, Marvel's Midnight Suns will have three launch editions- Standard, Enhanced, and Legendary. Enhanced Edition will come with the base game, along with an Enhanced Premium Pack, which will have 5 skins, one each for Captain America, Captain Marvel, Magik, Nico Minoru, and Wolverine.

On the other hand, the Legendary Edition will apparently contain the base game and the Legendary Premium Pack, containing a total of 23 skins, for Captain America, Captain Marvel, Magik, Nico Minoru, Wolverine, Blade, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, and Scarlet Witch. Furthermore, the Legendary Edition is also said to come with a season pass, which will contain four DLC packs, each adding a new playable hero, new missions, new enemies, and more.
