Marvel Snap developer Second Dinner has launched their latest card release, Araña, along with their latest patch update. While the patch update provides changes to Black Swan and Hellcow, going from On Reveal to Activate cards, the dev added a new change for the incoming Alliance week.
This sees a new Bounty Boost Week incoming for Alliance members, which the developer detailed in a social media thread that went live following the patch update. According to the developer, this boosting week for Alliances aims to celebrate the release of the Araña card and the upcoming premiere of the Marvel Studios' "Agatha All Along" series debuting on Disney+ on 18th September 2024.
Since their in-game debut during the Deadpool "Maximum Effort" season back in July 2024, Alliances (previously known as Clans) intends on fostering community within the Marvel Snap player base with a new social experience to work together to complete Bounties and get rewarded! All members who join an Alliance must "team up, strategize, chat with friends (new and old)" to complete Alliance-specific Bounties and earn some incredible rewards.
Posting to the Twitter account on 17th September 2024, the developer detailed the Bounty Boost Week, which runs immediately after the patch update release and weekly reset (17th September 2024) until 24th September 2024, right before the next weekly reset. During this Alliance boosting week, Snappers can earn double Alliance points by completing specific objectives that the developer provided, which are as follows:
- Double points for all Move-related Bounties
- Double points for winning with Move cards
- An increase in appearance rates for Move card-related Bounties
- Double points for winning related Bounties with Agatha Harkness, the Scarlet Witch, Vision, Speed, and Wiccan
As mentioned before, these bountiful changes for Alliances are live for one week until 24th September 2024 for when the next wave of Alliance changes will be implemented.
