With servers officially open for players to jump into matches with and against other players in Marvel Rivals, many have been teaming up with their friends in the various online modes, competitive and non-competitive. The game also boasts a Custom Game mode, which lets players host or join private matches, likely hopping into matches with friends, but there's a way to have more friends join them to "ignite the battles."
This is where the Hero Assembly code comes into play, as it can be used to "invite" friends who have yet to begin their Rivals experience. Acquiring the code has some prerequisites to meet before it is available to share with friends and have them battle alongside you in-game.
Firstly, players must play in matches to earn XP to reach Level 5, which is how the Hero Assembly code becomes available. They can click on the cog wheel at the top right of the screen to bring up a pop-up menu, click on the "Community" tab, and select the Hero Assembly event option, where they can copy the code, which can be shared with their friends.
According to the event rules, once shared with a friend, they must enter the Hero Assembly code during the Character Creation section when starting the game for the first time. Once they've pasted the code in the box supplied, this activates the code, and they can begin their Marvel Rivals journey and join their friends in multiplayer action.
It's important to note that the rules stipulate that the Hero Assembly code can be shared multiple times to get new players to join the game. As such, this can be rewarding to the player and their invited friend, as once their friend reaches Level 10, they'll receive the Hero Assembly reward of 300 Units, which can contribute to their next cosmetic purchase from the in-game Store!
