The 2021/22 NFL season has been filled with excitement so far including surprising contenders rising to the top of their respective conferences. Madden 22 aims to stay up to date with the league via weekly updates and player rating adjustments according to on-field performances.
The bell-cows of both NFL and Madden 22 offensive units, Running Backs are essential to pound the rock and sustain drives. As we reach the mid-way point of the NFL season, EA Sports is going back to re-rank the top Running Backs in the league.
Here's how the list stacks up for the Madden 22 mid-season Top 10 Ratings for Running Backs.
Mid-Season Top 10 Running Backs - Madden 22 ratings
The King still reigns supreme at 98 OVR as there's no denying Derrick Henry is the baddest man in the NFL. His recent foot injury is unfortunate timing as he looked to be on track to challenge the all-time single-season rushing record.
Filling out the rest of the list are mostly dual-threats out of the backfield, as well as the Browns dynamic duo. Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb, and Dalvin Cook all sit at 95+ OVR highlighting the depth of talented halfbacks in today's NFL.
Ezekiel Elliot is back up to 90 OVR after injury-plagued seasons sapped his ability the last few years, but he seems to be back to his best. Alvin Kamara and Aaron Jones continue to be massive playmakers for their respective offences at 93 and 92 OVR halfway through the season.
