Life is Strange: Double Exposure is coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop as early as tomorrow, 19 November, a surprise announcement states. A physical release is headed to store shelves on 28 January 2025, with an exclusive steelbook available at some retailers - and it's available to pre-order now.
Square Enix had previously stated that a Switch edition would eventually come out, but didn't provide a specific release date. They accompanied the announcement with a special animated trailer showing Max Caulfield and her friend Safi in a totally new style. Check it out for yourself below:
Double Exposure brings back the series' first game's protagonist, Max Caulfield, as she takes on strange new reality-bending powers, interacts with new friends (and enemies), and solves puzzles. Square Enix promises that "no matter your choices, these stories will stay with you forever."
The game is currently available on Xbox Series X|S consoles, PS5, and PC via Steam and Windows Store.
