In Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Max plays a game with her friends Safi and Moses involving a bottle cap. Whoever ends up with the bottle cap, must tell the others the truth about whatever they ask. So, Max comes up with a plan to try to slip the bottle cap over to Safi, figuring out her secret. Where Should You Hide The Bottle Cap In Life is Strange Double Exposure?

There are four possible hiding spots for the bottle cap in Double Exposure: Safi's bag, a snowball, a cigarette pack, and a bag of sour candy. Here's what will happen when you try hiding the bottle cap in each spot. While each hiding spot offers a different scenario and cutscene, there is only one "correct" place to hide the bottle cap to prompt Safi to tell you her secret.

Hiding The Bottle Cap In Safi's Bag

Even though Max admits to herself that it's probably not a good idea, you can still try hiding the bottle cap in Safi's bag. Unfortunately, Max's intuition that Safi is protective over her bag is completely correct. Safi will spot you trying to hide the bottle cap in her bag, and your plan will be foiled.

Hiding The Bottle Cap In The Snowball

Another option is going to the Snow Bank, where Max can form a snowball and hide the bottle cap inside. While a pretty fun option, this won't work out for Max. While Safi doesn't see you putting it inside the snowball, Max will throw the snowball off the edge and onto the ground. Safi won't have the bottle cap... and you won't either.

Hiding The Bottle Cap In The Cigarettes

You can also try hiding the bottle cap in Safi's pack of cigarettes. Unfortunately, like her bag, she keeps a pretty keen eye on those. She'll spot you doing so, and won't take possession of the bottle cap. Sorry, Max - you'll have to try a different hiding place instead.

Hiding The Bottle Cap In The Candy

This is the "correct" place to hide the bottle cap if you want to get it to Safi, since it's one of the only places where she won't see you hiding it. So, slip the bottle cap into the sour candy. Then, you can offer some over to Safi; after she accepts, you'll pour it straight into her hand. Success!

Now that Safi has the bottle cap, you'll be faced with a choice: ask Safi for more information, or let Safi win and keep her secret. It's up to you what you choose here, but as with nearly every choice in a Life is Strange game, your decision will have consequences!
