Life is Strange: Double Exposure features none other than Max Caulfield, the protagonist of the very first game in the franchise. Fans who know the game well are very familiar with Chloe Price, Max's best friend - but does she appear in Double Exposure? Here's everything you need to know about Chloe's role in this new game.
Is Chloe Price In Life is Strange: Double Exposure?
Chloe Price doesn't appear directly in Double Exposure's main story, and doesn't have as major of a role in the game as she did in the original Life is Strange. However, she does still appear in the game in her own ways.
Whether Chloe is alive or not in this game depends on players' choices early on. Players can make decisions in Double Exposure to reflect their decisions in the original game, depending on whether they chose the "Bay" or "Bae" ending. (Or, players can decide Chloe's fate for themselves for the first time - Double Exposure is designed to be welcoming to new players, too, after all.)
While Chloe doesn't play a major role in the story, fans can still see memories of her through pictures in Max's wallet (Safi comments on these), as well as flashbacks. Max mentions Chloe pretty frequently, given that she was a major part of Max's life for a long time.
Plus, if players kept Chloe alive based on their decisions, they'll be able to check out her posts on the Crosstalk social media platform throughout the game.
While we don't get to see Chloe in the flesh in Double Exposure, fans of her character will no doubt be excited to see these references to her in the new game. Though she doesn't play a major role in Double Exposure, she's still an important figure in Max's life after their close childhood and the events of the first game.
