How To Get Quartz In Lies Of P

In Lies of P, gathering Quartz isn't a straightforward process, unlike farming Star or Ergo Fragments by repeatedly defeating the same foes. However, you do have some reliable methods to acquire Quartz throughout your journey.

Quartz can be obtained from various sources, including completing side quests, defeating specific bosses, and uncovering secrets inside the Trinity Doors. While it's not something you can farm traditionally, there are still opportunities to collect it as you progress.

Below, you can find a comprehensive list of all the areas and bosses that drop Quartz in Lies of P:

• Workshop Union Entrance:
  • This Quartz can be acquired by defeating the Puppet of the Future boss in the Workshop Union.
• Workshop Union Culvert:
  • Start at the Stargazer, pass the Red Fox and the Black Cat, then go right at the big red pipe to find a green door. Unlock it with the Trinity Key obtained from the King of Riddles’ riddle near Krat City Hall Courtyard.
• St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel:
  • After dispelling the Decay with a dropped brazier, find a cell doll you can open and defeat an enemy to get the Quartz.
• Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard:
  • Reach the top of the wooden tower, knock down the brazier, and access the underground chamber to pick up the Crafted Cryptic Vessel. Decrypt it with Venigni, leading to a mission involving a puppet on Alchemist Bridge. Fast travel to Krat City Hall Stargazer and return to Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard Stargazer to obtain the Quartz.
• Malum District:
  • Located in a chest within an open building in a square teeming with enemies, including Decay-throwing ones on upper ledges.
• Malum District Town Hall:
  • Retrieve it from a chest behind the counter after defeating the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood inside their hideout.
• Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert:
  • Drop into the sewers from the Stargazer, follow the pipe to discover the Quartz, and use the ladder to create a shortcut.
• Hotel Krat:
  • Purchase it from Polendina’s shop after expanding the shop using the Sturdy Krat Supply Box found at the Grand Exhibition Gallery.
  • Obtain it by returning the Special Krat Supply Box found at the Collapsed Workshop Tower.
• Estella Opera House Entrance:
  • Access the Trinity Sanctum by solving the King of Riddles’ riddle at the Grand Exhibition Gallery. The answer is "Candle."
• Barren Swamp:
  • Interact with the Broken Puppet at the Stargazer and perform specific gestures to earn the Quartz.
  • Also dropped by Puppet of the Future (both bosses).
• Krat Central Station Platform:
  • Drop down from the Stargazer into the decayed area to locate the Quartz in a chest. Ensure you destroy the fungus controlling the Decay.
• Barren Swamp Bridge – Hermit’s Cave:
  • Talk to Hugo, return after obtaining the Rusty Cryptic Vessel, and open a chest at the end of the cave.
  • At the very end of the cave, inside of a safe.
• Krat Central Station Street:
  • Awarded for defeating the Corrupted Parade Master.
• Relic of Trismegistus Entrance:
  • Obtained by defeating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.
• Arche Abbey Outer Wall:
  • You can find it in the last Trinity Sanctum, which becomes accessible after opening all previous Sanctums and obtaining the final Trinity Key. Speak with Arlecchino inside to obtain it.
• Arche Abbey Broken Rift:
  • Dropped by a large wooden Pinocchio toy. In an area with two big swordsmen, drop down and navigate traps to find it. 
  • Later on, you'll encounter two large swordsmen on the stairs. After dealing with the second one, descend the nearby ladder. Take the side path, watch out for traps, and gear up because there's a Gatling gun enemy ahead.
• Abandoned Apartment:
  • In an inner foggy area, discover it in a chest guarded by an enemy. To solve this, go to Abandoned Apartment Stargazer, climb stairs, cross a sign, and head up the furthest staircases. Equip the Frozen Feast weapon and talk to the Wandering Merchant.
• Ascension Bridge:
  • Find it in a chest when encountering a screaming enemy.
• Arche Abbey Upper Part – Internal Bridge:
  • Dropped by an elite Disruption enemy.
• Barren Swamp:
  • Show the remaining gestures to the Broken Puppet to earn the Quartz.
