The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Announced For September 2024

As part of June's Nintendo Direct, a brand new Zelda game has been revealed and this time we get to play as the princess herself. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be heading to Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024.

In the brief trailer, it was revealed that players will this time be playing as Zelda, accompanied by a mysterious fairy creature called Tri. Strange rifts have begun erupting across Hyrule, stealing away citizens, including Link. This time, the only one who can save Hyrule from its fate is Princess Zelda.

Using her Wisdom, and a special staff, Zelda is able to create "echoes" of objects that she can then replicate at will to help traverse the world, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles.

These echoes range from object like boxes or beds, to full-fledged enemies that Zelda can use to help defend herself. 

The style of this upcoming game matches the retro-modern artstyle of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake which launched back in 2019. Check out the trailer below!
