The world of esports and K-pop collided in superstar fashion on BTS variety show RUN BTS, with T1’s League of Legends roster going up against the likes of Jungkook and Jimin.
The three-time world championship team, consisting of Effort, Teddy, Cuzz, Canna and their legendary mid laner Faker, made a special appearance on the K-pop boy band’s web series.
What did they get up to exactly? Instead of League of Legends, T1’s roster went up against Jungkook, Jimin, V, Suga, J-Hope, RM and Jin across six comical games - including one where they try to catch each other out via some rhythm-action.

A later game sees them play rock, paper, scissors, with the winner then having to whack their opponent with a toy hammer - while the other puts a bowl on their head. We’re not sure entirely what’s going on, but it’s magical regardless.
As you’d hope, the two teams do eventually play League of Legends - albeit a round of Mundo Dodgeball instead.

RUN BTS started way back in 2015, and has since gone onto have over 113 episodes to date.
Of course, esports and K-pop have collided before - with Riot Games developing their own virtual K-pop group K/DA who recently performed at the League of Legends World Championship Finals in Shanghai, China.
