Pyke nerfs, Warwick buffs, Halloween skins and more in Patch 9.21

There have been numerous changes in League of Legends' Patch 9.21 to a wide variety of champions as well as the reveal of new Halloween themed skins for Kassadin, Blitzcrank and Miss Fortune, including a Prestige Edition.

Buffs will see tweaks rather than overhauls this time around, but don't be surprised to see the following champions getting increased play time.

Kayn

The Shadow Reaper has two forms and neither are particularly strong, with these buffs seeking to improve this in both forms. A slight nerf in the form of a reduction in bonus damage to monsters is also included in this patch.

Damage - 60/80/100/120/140 ⇒ 75/95/115/135/155

Rhaast modified damage - 0.5 total attack damage ⇒ 0.55 total attack damage

Bonus damage to monsters - 55 ⇒ 40

Kog'Maw

Slight increases in mana and mana regen have been given to Kog'Maw as well as the base damage of his Q and E rising.

Mana - 322.22 ⇒ 325

Mana regen - 8.676 ⇒ 8.75

Caustic Spittle (Q) Base damage - 80/130/180/230/280 ⇒ 90/140/190/240/290

Void Ooze (E) - Base damage - 60/105/150/195/240 ⇒ 75/120/165/210/255

Lulu

A mid-game boost has been given to the Fae Sorceress by improving her Help, Pix! (E) ability.

Shield - 80/115/150/185/220 ⇒ 80/120/160/200/240

Maokai

While Maokai will be seen frequently in the PBE thanks to the Teamfight Tactics update seeing him join the autobattler fray, these buffs will hopefully bring him to Summoner's Rift more often.

Twisted Advance (W) - Cost 60/65/70/75/80 ⇒ 60 at all levels, Damage 50/75/100/125/150 ⇒ 70/95/120/145/170

Nature's Grasp (R) - Root duration - 0.6-2.4 seconds (based on distance traveled) ⇒ 0.8-2.6 seconds (based on distance traveled)

Warwick

The Uncaged Wrath of Zaun has been buffed to allow the lupine chimera to feel like the beast he truly is.

Jaws of the Beast (Q) - Damage ratio - 6/6.5/7/7.5/8% of the target's maximum health ⇒ 6/7/8/9/10% of the target's maximum health

Blood Hunt (W) - Bonus attack speed - 50/65/80/95/110% upon attacking a Blood Hunted target or an enemy unit below 50% of their maximum health ⇒ 70/80/90/100/110% upon attacking a Blood Hunted target or an enemy unit below 50% of their maximum health

As well as buffs, some nerfs have come in for other champs in the pool.

Pyke

The biggest nerfs have hit the Bloodharbor Ripper in this patch after weeks of community demands.

Gift of the Drowned Ones (passive) - reduced to 25-50% grey health (levels 1-18) of the damage he takes from enemy champions

These changes are to help counter Pyke's ability to take advantage of situations where he can risk killing multiple enemies without much challenge.

Garen

Garen sees Judgement's (E) base damage per spin decreased after his significant 9.20 changes.

Base damage per spin -8/12/16/20/24⇒4/8/12/16/20

This change has not impacted upon his damage ratio per spin.

Shaco

Another champion buffed in Patch 9.20, Shaco now sees his Jack in the Box (W) duration shortened to counter his lane presence and early jungle power.

Five new skins - Witch's Brew Blizcrank, Count Kassadin, Annie-versary and Bewitching Miss Fortune, as well as a Prestige Edition for the latter, will be available to purchase from tomorrow.
