A new version of Calamity Ganon made his presence felt with his official playable version already found in-game by fans in the first couple of hours after release. Although definitely smaller in size than his predecessor’s versions, maybe due to the fact that the first Calamity Ganon we met was 100 years into the lore’s future, this time you won’t need hacks or roms to play as our archenemy. Here is everything you need to know to unlock Calamity Ganon (the Gerudo King) as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
If it wasn’t obvious enough earlier, SPOILERS AHEAD. You have been warned.
How to Unlock Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Warriors
First of all, to unlock Ganon you must first finish the story mode. After doing so, you will need to repair our faithful companion, Terrako, and complete the challenges until you reach the Recommended Level 71-80 playlist.
From there, select the challenge titled "Versus Calamity Ganon" (pretty self-explanatory) and you’ll be spawned into battle. Once you've finished this challenge, you will unlock Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Once selected, you will be prompted with a 12-minute timer to complete the challenge and will be spawned into a small area facing off against Astor. Get comfy, because this is the first of three.
Harbinger and Calamity Ganon
After defeating Astor, a text bubble reading "Harbinger Ganon has appeared" will read on your screen. Nothing to explain there, now you are facing Harbinger Ganon.

Once you defeat Harbinger Ganon, a small cutscene will play in front of the area’s two wooden doors, revealing Calamity Ganon, at last. Remember to keep an eye on the timer, so you do it right the first time. If you defeat all three of the bosses within 12 minutes, you have successfully finished the challenge.
Once all that is done and you have collected your loot, you will be prompted with this screen confirming that Calamity Ganon is now unlocked as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Updates will follow with more guides as we get further and further away from the release date, but this is big for the community to find such an iconic character as playable even before it comes out in certain countries.
