Hunt: Showdown 1896 has been making significant progress recently, with hints of a potential collaboration with Post Malone and regular updates aimed at improving the game overall. In addition to these improvements, the developers at Crytek have chosen to extend the fan-favorite Bounty Clash game mode. However, fans are still voicing their opinions, insisting that it should be made a permanent feature.

In a recent tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Crytek announced that the popular Bounty Clash game mode will be extended for two more weekends. The extension will run from Nov 29 to Dec 2 and from Dec 6 to Dec 9. This is exciting for many players, as the mode has become a standout feature in the game.

However, some players are taking things further, urging Crytek to make Bounty Clash a permanent mode. In response to Crytek’s announcement, users commented, "Frankly I think it should be a permanent fixture, leaving it to weekends is fine, but Hunt needs some variety for sure," and "Very confusing choice. Players love this mode. Please make it accessible full-time."

It seems the extension has caused more confusion and frustration than excitement, with many players eager to see the mode become a permanent part of the game. This demand likely stems from the issues present in the base game, where shorter rounds in Bounty Clash allow for a quicker, more enjoyable experience with less chance for these issues to disrupt gameplay.

On the other hand, Crytek doesn’t appear to be interested in making the mode permanent at this time. Instead, the focus seems to be on refining the core gameplay of Bounty Hunt. Recent updates, such as matchmaking changes and the 2.1.1 update with various improvements, show where the studio’s priorities lie for now.

For now, we can enjoy the extra two weeks of Bounty Clash in Hunt: Showdown 1896 and hope that Crytek may consider making it permanent in the future, or at the very least, continue to improve the core experience over time.
