The holiday season is here in full swing, and House Flipper 2 creators Frozen District are celebrating with tons of new content in their hit game. House Flipper 2's co-op open beta is now live, and is available for free to anyone on PC who'd like to try it out with up to three friends. Developers are also celebrating with the House Flipper 2 Winter Update on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
To check out the playtest, head to the House Flipper 2 Steam Store Page and find the "Join the HF2 - Co-op Playtest" field. Next, you'll press the "Request Access" button - and viola, you'll be able to try out the co-op open beta!
Developers say they also have plans for a new, free co-op DLC in the future, which will feature all-new houses and jobs tailored for co-op. They also plan to add cross-platform support, meaning that you can team up with friends on other platforms to play either story or sandbox.
The Winter event has its own new content to offer, including a new "heartwarming" job and purchasable property, as well as 260 new winter-themed items. You'll also be able to participate in snowball fights and sled assembly, and, last but not least, there's a new RGB lighting feature for light fixtures to add to the festive atmosphere.
Coinciding with the new Winter Event, there's also a new House Flipper 2 Community Contest called The Coziest Christmas Community Contest. Players will be presented with a "shell" of a house, and will need to decorate it beautifully to win the competition against other players.
But that's still not all - the original House Flipper is getting some renovations, too. The Party Furniture Pack is set to release on 30 December, and is perfect for players "who’d like to prepare their virtual homes for a full-scale New Year celebration party." The new furniture pack will feature over 200 brand-new items for players to use when decorating.
To celebrate all of the new content, the whole House Flipper franchise is available on at record-high discounts as part of the Frozen District Publisher Sale on Steam.
