Horizon Forbidden West is a massive open-world game. Like most open-world games nowadays, it's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things you can see and do in this gorgeous post-post-apocalyptic universe.
As beautiful as it is to look at, Horizon Forbidden West's open-world is also incredibly dangerous. Ferocious machines roam the wilderness in packs, and you're always one moment away from finding yourself in a nail-biting situation.
Thankfully, Horizon Forbidden West offers a plethora of weapons, and one of the most powerful weapon types in the game is the Warrior Bow. Here's how you can unlock it super early in the game.
Warrior Bow in Horizon Forbidden West
Warrior Bow is a short-ranged bow with a high fire rate. They inflict high elemental damage from up close and are especially essential for taking out hordes of enemies at the same time.
Given how challenging some encounters can be even at the normal difficulty level, you must acquire a Warrior Bow as soon as possible in Horizon Forbidden West.
Thankfully, you can get the Shock Warrior Bow in The Daunt region of Horizon Forbidden West for free. Midway through the story quest "To the Brink," you will come across an NPC called "Thurlis," who will tell you about the nearby hunting grounds.
If you didn't know, hunting ground trials are time constraint challenges that reward you with medals on completion. Later on in the game, you can use these medals to buy high-end weapons.
The Hunting Grounds in The Daunt region is South of the Relic Ruin, and you should be able to find it easily. Once there, talk to Izvad, who will tell you about the trials and also give you the Shock Warrior Bow for free. You don't have even to start the trials to get the bow as Izvad hands it to you immediately after your first interaction with him.
It is the easiest and the quickest way to get your hands on a Warrior Bow in Horizon Forbidden West, not to mention free. Moreover, the Shock Warrior Bow is a handy tool since you will encounter plenty of machines early on that are weak to Shock damage.
