Patrick Mahomes Fortnite Skin - Release Date

The rumors first began to swirl when popular Fortnite leakers tweeted out teasers that Patrick Mahomes could be coming to Fortnite as a new skin for players to unlock. Epic Games has previously collaborated with the NFL to provide in-game Fortnite outfits, but those were simply generic team-licensed gear.

If the recent leaks are true, this drop will be all about Mahomes as he's set to receive a personalized Fortnite character. While there was no specific release date yet provided for the Patrick Mahomes drop, there were multiple prominent Fortnite leakers who suggested the announcement should happen soon.

Epic Games has added some data in v21.20 regarding an upcoming emote codenamed "ApexWild"

Fortnite Patrick Mahomes Icon Series Skin

To this point, leaks have only revealed an Adidas logo as part of the files containing the Fortnite Patrick Mahomes information. The popular sports apparel brand is of course one of Mahomes' top sponsors.

It's possible the upcoming Fortnite drop could feature a version of Mahomes 'out of uniform' as the generic NFL outfits already exist in Fortnite. These NFL team skins can be customized to change the jersey number in the Fortnite locker and many fans have used the #15 as a way to play with a bootleg Mahomes outfit.
