Fortnite Ranked Cups are making a comeback in 2024, allowing players to put their skills to the test against some of the best players out there. As its name suggests, players will be divided to compete against those in the same rank. So, if you're currently ranked Silver, expect to be competing against players also within Silver tier.
Competing in Ranked Cups also offers competitors special cosmetics. Naturally, these might be a bit easier to obtain in the lower ranks, but those in Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal will certainly be putting in the work. So, if you're looking to compete in the next Ranked Cup, here's when things will be kicking off in 2024.

How To Compete In Fortnite Ranked Cups
If you're new to Fortnite's competitive scene, or have simply yet to compete in a Ranked Cup, you'll likely be wondering how to join one. Thankfully, it's not too serious. When in the Fortnite lobby, you'll be able to filter through to Fortnite Ranked, just as you would when changing from Battle Royale to Zero Build. You'll be able to select to join a Ranked Cup when they go live.
If you're queuing as a Solo player, you'll match against those in the same tier. If you're planning to play as a Duo or Squad, ensure all members of your team are in the same tier. Each tournament session will be broken out into the following pools:
-
Bronze
-
Silver
-
Gold
-
Platinum
-
Diamond + Champion + Elite + Unreal
Players will typically need to earn at least 75 points in any Ranked Cup session to unlock the season's special prizes.
