Fortnite v19.20 patch notes - Downtime, Covert Cavern POI, Mythic Stinger and more

Fortnite v19.20 is a few hours away from its release, and the servers have already been taken down by Epic for maintenance. The update will be bringing a ton of new content, including cosmetics, weapons, map changes and more. 

These include The Foundation outfit, Covert Canyon POI, Mythic Stinger SMG etc., along with Battle Royale, Creative fixes and much more. Here are the details of everything coming to Fortnite with the release of patch 19.20.

Fortnite v19.20 downtime

As mentioned above, the server downtime has already begun, and they will be back online soon; however, the exact time has not been announced yet.

During this time, players will not be able to play Fortnite at all until the 19.20 update is released.

v19.20 is covertly coming up (until we just announced it).

Fortnite v19.20 patch notes

While Epic is yet to release the complete patch notes of Fortnite v19.20, popular dataminers like iFireMonkey, Hypex and more have leaked most of the upcoming content.

Covert Cavern POI

Covert Cavern that was supposed to be added in the last update as per the leaks will be coming with the v19.20 update and is expected to be similar to The Grotto.

First look at the leaked "Covert Cavern" POI Location on the map which will see the IO take over the inside of the Pinnacle Peak mountain!

The Foundation outfit

After a long wait, players will finally be able to grab The Foundation and its matching set to be able to play as The Rock in Fortnite. As per the leaks, players will have to complete different tasks in order to unlock this set.

The Revolver

The Revolver was expected to be unvaulted in v19.10 with a hotfix; however, it did not happen. Thus, it is now expected to arrive in v19.20.

New I.O. Guard NPC

The update is expected to add new I.O. characters to the game along with a new boss that will be carrying a brand new Mythic Stinger SMG.

This new IO Guard NPC was added in the Chapter 3 update.

Haven Masks

Haven Masks are expected to finally become available in Fortnite v19.20 after staying locked in the game; however, there is no info regarding how players will be able to equip them.
