Epic Games recently revealed their plans for Fortnite Competitive in 2021, including a new weekly tournament series called Bragging Rights. Further, the developer revealed the staple Cash Cups for Fortnite Season 5, and now, we've got all the details.
Here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups, including how to join, the prizes, format and importantly, the schedule so you can join in on the action.
Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups: How to join
Those who have reached Champion League in the Arena will be able to join the new Cash Cups for Fortnite Season 5. This is also a Trios tournament series, which will be held on Mondays.
In case you didn't know, you need to have at least 6,000 hype to reach the Champion League.

To join, you simply need to log into Fortnite, head to the "Competitive" tab, and join with your team if you all meet the Hype requirements.
Fortnite Cash Cups prizes
There's some cold hard cash at stake, as the tournament series name might suggest. Check out the list of regions as well as their respective prize pools below.
Europe:
- 1st - $2,300
- 2nd - $1,800
- 3rd - $1,605
- 4th - $1,500
- 5th to 10th - $1,200
- 11th to 15th - $810
- 16th to 25th - $675
- 26th to 50th - $600
NA East:
- 1st - $1,800
- 2nd - $1,425
- 3rd - $1,305
- 4th - $1,200
- 5th - $1,005
- 6th to 10th - $810
- 11th to 20th - $675
- 21st to 25th - $600
NA West:
- 1st - $1,200
- 2nd - $1,050
- 3rd - $810
- 4th to 6th - $750
- 7th to 12th - $600
Brazil:

The winnings of each team will be divided equally to all three players in the Trios squad who makes it to the money.
Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups format
The Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups will be played across one round, so players will definitely need to make it count.
This is a Trios tournament and it is open to all platforms. Check out the in-game screenshot featuring the scoring system below.

Tiebreakers will be implemented when needed in the Cash Cups.
Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups schedule
The Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups will take place "every other week throughout the season", with the first one starting on 11th January 2021.
Check in-game for your region-specific start times. For example, the Middle-East cash cup kicks off at 13:00 GMT.
The schedule for the Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups are:
- 11th January 2021
- 25th January 2021
- 8th February 2021
- 22nd February 2021
- 8th March 2021
Alongside the Cash Cups, Hype Cups take place on the same day, giving players who couldn't make the Cash Cup requirements a chance to earn some Hype to get to Champion League.
If you can't join in due to low Hype, you can always join the Hype Cups, which could give you a nice boost to join the next Cash Cup.
