Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2022 - Start date, free rewards, more

The world's favorite battle royale continues to spread its influence as Fortnite grows bigger and bigger seemingly by the day. Developers Epic Games have made it a point to provide timely crossovers and events for players to celebrate in so many ways.

Recently announced, Fortnite Rainbow Royale will be returning in 2022 as Epic Games celebrates the Fortnite LGBTQIA+ community. Here's when players can expect to jump into the action as well as the rewards for the Rainbow Royale Fortnite 2022.

Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2022 start date

A recent blogpost announced the Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2022 event as a return after a successful run in 2021. Last year's event featured free items in the shop, as well as map changes, and a themed flag in Creative mode.

Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2022 rewards

Now live in the Fortnite Item Shop players can unlock the free items from the 2021 Rainbow Royale event. These free items are available from now until 16th June at 8 pm ET (17th June at 1 am GMT). Here are all the Rainbow Royale 2021 items players can now get for free in Chapter 3 Season 3:

• Four Rainbow Royale Sprays: Vibrant Heart, Vibrant Llama, Vibrant Boogie, and Vibrant Star

• Sunshine & Rainbows - Wrap

• Take a ’bow - Emote
