Epic Games have brought back yet another spooky Halloween-themed seasonal event, namely: Fortnitemares 2021 and the Wrath of the Cube Queen, which arrives with the latest Fortnite v.18.21 gameplay patch.
To help celebrate Fortnitemares 2021, they have also announced the return of Power Leveling Weekends, which will give Fortnite players even more opportunities to reap additional XP toward their battle pass by completing various Daily and Weekly Punchcard challenges.
When is the next Fortnite Power Leveling weekend?
This year, there will be two Power Leveling Weekends, which will allow players to squad up and complete Punchcards, whilst supercharging their battle pass progress.
The Fortnite Power Leveling Weekend starts and ends at 7 am ET or 12 pm (noon) BST on the dates indicated below.
- 22nd October - 25th October
- 29th October - 1st November
Fortnite players that log in to the game during these times will unlock a Supercharged XP bonus and level up faster whilst they play. Epic Games indicates that the supercharged pool is free to use and that players can only get it during the Power Leveling Weekend.
Fortnite Power Leveling weekend Punchcard XP boosts
Epic Games has also expanded the Daily and Weekly Punchcards seen in Fortnitemares, reworking them into the game. "We’ve replaced the 'Spend Bars' and 'Place Top 10 with Friends' Quests with new Quests that rotate weekly," Epic Games noted on their website.
Daily Punchcards will also award players with more battle pass XP (45,000 XP versus 30,000 XP) this year. This extends to Weekly Punchcard rewards as well, which will award players 75,000 XP (versus 50,000 XP previously) toward their battle pass.
