Fortnite x Marvel Zero War crossover feature free cosmetic items

Marvel Entertainment released the covers for the second Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic book arriving this year. The crossover collaboration between the two media giants will see heroes from the Fortnite and Marvel properties work alongside each other in a limited series run.

The Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic series will feature codes players can acquire from every issue that can be redeemed in-game. Marvel Entertainment has outlined what cosmetic items can be unlocked once the codes are redeemed and when they’ll be available at the Fortnite Item Shop.

Epic Games and Marvel Entertainment are crossing over for yet another epic collaboration as the latter announced the latest issue of the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic series. With the official release set for June 2022, the second issue will arrive in July 2022.

According to a press release Marvel posted on their website, every first-print issue of the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic series feature a Fortnite code that players can redeem in-game. The codes will be made exclusively to the comic book community first, with the items appearing at the Fortnite Item Shop at a later stage.

As stated in the press release, Marvel further elaborated that “select in-game items will ONLY be available with the redeemable codes from the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War first-print comics”. What items players can unlock using the redeemable codes have been outlined by Marvel.

These are the items you can anticipate downloading, which will be available at a later time via the Fortnite Item Shop:

• Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #1: An outfit
• Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #2: A wrap
• Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #3: A pickaxe
• Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #4: A spray
• Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #5: A loading screen image

Lastly, those who have redeemed all five codes in-game will unlock a bonus reward, a free Outfit. All the items redeemed will be Marvel-themed; however, no confirmation as to what they’ll look like in-game.

The Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #2 will see our favourite Marvel heroes in pursuit of the Zero Shard. As Spider-Man gathers a group of allies, leading them towards the edge of Wakanda, The Foundation receives some assistance from Iron Man as they launch a mission where they discover something that will change everything.

Marvel Entertainment unveiled two covers for Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #2, with the first cover featuring Iron Man with Thor and X-Men member Storm on the second cover. The Foundation will be appearing alongside these Marvel heroes on both comic book covers.
