Fortnite Klombos: Locations, how to calm down and more

On 18th January 2022, Epic Games unleashed the first major update for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. The Fortnite v19.10 update brought back Tilted Towers, made bug fixes and improvements, added a KAWS Art Exhibit to Creative, and much more. Among these additions is a new, legendary creates called the Klombos. 

In this guide, we tell you exactly where to find Klombos in Fortnite, how you can use them in a match, and reveal how you can calm them down, if you are unlucky enough to anger one.

All Klombos locations in Fortnite

While there is three Klombo located around the returning Tilted Towers POI, this new creature spawns across the Fortnite island map.

Since the Klombos are massive creatures, they are easy to spot from afar, even when dropping into the island from the sky.

How to use a Klombo in Fortnite

Epic Games has explained what Klombos are: "It’s been long theorized there was a large creature on the Island, but alas, it hasn’t been found. Until now! And it’s actually no 'it'— there’s more than one stomping around the Island.

They are enormous in size and beautifully colourful. They do, however, have more uses than just being pretty, peaceful giants.

These gentle giants will feast on basically every type of food. After you've fed them some food, they will sneeze out items to help you in a match.

Further, you can climb up on Klombos via their tails and use their blowhole on their heads to "get launched a great distance upwards" thereby escaping enemies.

How to calm down Klombos

If you happen to anger a Klombo, then you are going to have a bad time. These massive beasts will kill players in seconds, if you, for example, blast them with a Grenade Launcher.

To calm Klombos down, all you need to do is feed them some Klomberries. Throw some Klomberries in front of them, and watch these creatures suck up the Klomberries, calming down in the process.

Klomberries is a new item in the Fortnite v19.10 update. Find some Butter Cake Bushes spread across the island. Butter Cake Bushes have a 30% chance to spawn some Klomberries.

Don't worry, Klombos are not in the Competitive Playlist, but the Klomberries are!
