The End is nigh! Well, at least in Fortnite ...with the game edging closer to the end of Chapter 2.
Chapter 2 kicked off all the way back in October 2019 and it's fair to say A LOT has changed in those intervening two years. Not just in Fortnite, but the entire world and it's fair to say many will be welcoming a fresh start in both of these things.
But before we get too ahead of ourselves, there is still some unfinished business in Fortnite Chapter 2 and to see the chapter and season off properly, Epic Games are going big with a huge end-of-season event, dubbed "The End".
First introduced in Season 8 and continued into Season 9, Fortnite's story has been all about The Sideways and The Cube Queen and it appears that the latter has one last thing in store for the inhabitants of Fortnite island.
This is a one-time in-game event, so you will need to be there or risk missing out, and you know how Epic likes to do, meaning you can expect this to be BIG.
Not only will there be the event but also a number of free rewards in the shape of cosmetics and XP are on offer for players.
Information is still pretty scarce, but here is everything you need to know about Fortnite's The End finale event.
When does The End start?
The End event, which signals the end of Chapter 2, will take place on Saturday, 4th December at 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET / 9 pm GMT.
Players will be able to queue up 30 mins prior using 'The End' playlist, in parties up to 16 players.
Players will also not be able to save any replays from the event, with the developers warning those that partake to record locally any footage you want to keep of the event.
Free Loading Screen and Wrap
Those that take part in the one-time-only event will also unlock a free Loading Screen and Wrap. Neither has been unveiled yet but will likely celebrate this event and will obviously be exclusive!
Bonus XP reward
Struggling to level up your battle pass? Fear not, as the devs are offering any player who logs in before the end of the season a 225,000 XP reward.
There will also be a "Power Leveling Weekend" starting 26th November at 7 pm ET and ending on 29th November at 7 am ET.
We will update this article with more information as it becomes available, if you want to add a reminder to your calendar, check out the official Fortnite page.
