After some leaks and teasing, Epic Games finally revealed that the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super collab would release on 16th August 2022 with the Fortnite v20.40 update.
In our unofficial patch notes for the Fortnite v20.40 update, we dive into the bug fixes and content, including the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super collab, a possible Stamina item, and more.
Fortnite Server Downtime 16th August - v21.40 Update
With every big Fortnite update, players will have to endure a few hours of server downtime, and v21.40 is no different.
The servers go down at 04:00 ET (09:00 BST), and matchmaking will be disabled approximately 30 minutes before the server downtime gets underway.
We expect the server downtime to last three to four hours to deploy the Fortnite v21.40 update on all platforms.
Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super & Stamina Item
First up, Epic Games has been testing a Stamina Capsule item for quite a while now. With the Fortnite v20.40 update ushering in the highly-anticipated Dragon Ball Super collab, it appears the Stamina Capsule item will be released.
We will update our readers in our Fortnite section on this item and how you can get it once the update goes live.
According to famous dataminer and leaker HYPEX, there will be four skins in the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super collab.
Three of the skins have been found, and they are for Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus. One additional skin will be revealed once the update goes live.
