Is The Chapter 1 OG Map Coming Back To Fortnite?

Fortnite fans hold a special place in their heart for the Chapter 1 map. It was a simpler time, with iconic POIs and more traditional weapons to use. For many it was the map that switched on a love of Fortnite. Since then, the map has undergone a huge amount of changes and alterations, with constantly shifting POIs and bizarre weapons entering the weapon pool.

But many are hoping to return to easier times and, as such, have been hoping to see the Chapter 1 map make a return in some form. So, could the OG map be coming back?

Chapter 1 Map Returning To Fortnite?

As of October 27, 2023, Epic Games has revealed that the Chapter 1 map will be coming back to Fortnite. A brief image teaser was posted to the official Fortnite X account, with an image of the Battle Bus and the caption: "Sprint (or Mantle, your choice) back to Chapter 1....see you soon 11.3.2023."

Previously, the return of the OG map was leaked via known Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, alongside HYPEX and FBRsections. According to the leakers, the season will include old models and guns and "will be insanely fast-paced" with "constant map changes until the end of November."

It's unclear exactly how the Chapter 1 map will be integrated into Chapter 4 Season 5, but regardless of form it's sure to interest veteran Fortnite players.

Fortnite Chapter 1 Map Return Release Date

The return of the OG Chapter 1 map to Fortnite will occur during Chapter 4 Season 5, and is expected to arrive on November 3, 2023.
