Five Nights at Freddy's has exploded in popularity in the past few years; the series grew from a small indie game by Scott Cawthon into an international success, with the FNAF Movie breaking box office records in 2023. While the movies grow in popularity, FNAF is also coming out with new games constantly and updating old ones too. Five Nights at Freddy's: Into The Pit

A new upcoming FNAF Game, Into The Pit, was leaked early in 2024. While Scott Cawthon confirmed the leaks, a release date was not announced or included in the leaked trailer. However, we can expect FNAF: Into The Pit to release sometime in 2024.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach Ruin DLC (Xbox & Nintendo)

Update - The Ruin DLC was released for Xbox on April 23, 2024. A Nintendo Switch release is still planned for later this year.

While the FNAF: Security Breach Ruin DLC has already been available on PlayStation and PC for a while now, Xbox and Nintendo players are still eagerly awaiting its release after delays prevented it from releasing on those platforms. No new release date has been provided, but it's likely that the game could (and should) release in mid-to-late 2024, since development resumed on the project in January 2024.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Survival Crew

Like Into The Pit, FNAF: Survival Crew was a leaked title; however, the series' creator seemed less happy about the leaks surrounding this Roblox title. The game was accidentally released in late December 2023, with many fans hopping on to play but noting that the game seemed incomplete. The game was taken down just two hours later, with Cawthon confirming that the release was an accident and the game is still in development.

Though no release date was provided for this game, we think it's unlikely to release in 2024, unless it was to release late 2024. Not only was the game in a terrible state and incomplete, but a message from the developers later confirmed that Scott Cawthon requested the game be "completely thrown out and started over from scratch with completely new gameplay and assets". The developers also explained that the game would only be released "when it meets a much higher standard", before adding that if it never reaches that standard, it will "never be released". We wouldn't hold our breath for this one.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Movie

11 April Update - Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have officially announced Five Nights at Freddy's 2 at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. In a subsequent post on X, Blumhouse confirmed the next film will be released at some point in Fall 2025.

With the success of the first Five Nights at Freddy's movie, its creators have confirmed that a second one is in progress and filming will begin in 2024. This means development will continue on the movie throughout the year, although, realistically we don't think it will release until early 2025 release date for the FNAF 2 Movie.
