Fans got their first behind-the-scenes look at a Five Nights at Freddy's 2 movie animatronic yesterday in an X/Twitter post from the official FNAF/ScottGames account. The image shows the base of what looks to be a Toy Bonnie animatronic, with no paint or coverings on it quite yet.
Blumhouse confirmed earlier this year that a second Five Nights at Freddy's movie is coming, and is likely to release some time in 2025. The first movie, which was released last year, was extremely successful, shattering box office records. Since its release, many fans have been looking for updates surrounding the FNAF 2 Movie; thus far, Cawthon's post is one of few teasers fans have gotten.
While that's all in terms of movie updates, Five Nights at Freddy's teased a further collab announcement today, hinting that fans should keep an eye on an unnamed account for more info on what's to come.
Some fans are anticipating that the collab could even be with a huge name like Fortnite or even Dead by Daylight, but nothing's confirmed quite yet.
The new Five Nights at Freddy's collabs and updates come as part of the game's 10th anniversary celebration, which kicked off on 1 August and lasts for a whole week. Series creator and developer Scott Cawthon promised fans a new announcement for every day of the week, with a new myPOPGOES game, an interactive novel, and an interview with Cawthon already checked off the list.
