Play Far Cry 5 for free on PC this weekend

Pack your bags and get ready for a trip: we're going to Hope County, Montana. There, you will meet one fine gentleman called Joseph Seed and his Eden's Gate. Unfortunately, things will not be really friendly.

Jokes aside, Far Cry 5 offers almost 30 hours of gameplay content and if you have some free time, you can even complete a whole game during this free period, which starts tomorrow(29 May) at 3 PM CET and ends on 31 May at 10 PM CET.

That's more than enough time to beat the whole game if you want, and the best part is that you can preload the game right now from your Uplay account so that you can start playing immediately when the free period starts.

Far Cry 5 was released in March 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and became the fastest-selling title in the franchise, grossing over $310 million in its first week of sales.

A spin-off title and sequel to the narrative, Far Cry New Dawn, was released in February 2019. Ubisoft also released three DLC episodes for the original game: Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars and Dead Living Zombies
