The Free Fallout London Mod Has Finally Released on GOG

After several delays, some of the making of Bethesda, the fan-made Fallout London mod is finally available to download and play.

As the title would suggest, the mod allows players to explore a run down version of London set within the wider Fallout universe. Since we know how much Fallout fans love a bit of lore, Fallout London is set 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3.

As we imagine some might know, the game is built using the 2015 title, Fallout 4. However, the mod completely overhauls everything, and promises "90 hours of gameplay", including a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined capital of the UK.

A full list of features on the gog page for the game also details a slither of what players can expect from this sizeable fan mod, including:

• 200 Quests to change London’s future
• 20 Factions bickering for power
• 7 Companions to bring along on your journey
• 15 Boroughs crafted from the ground up, bringing you a new warped and broken London
• Extended Dialogue System to bring player-choices to the table, carve your own story!
• Overhauled Original Soundtrack to bring personality to each nook and cranny
• Original Voice Acting from all major characters, gangs, and factions

Fallout London is available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs, but it is a little finicky to install, given that the mod is not compatible with the next-gen version of Fallout 4. Consequently, players have to download the pre-patched version (1.10.163.0) to play the game, and also means that the mod is not compatible with Epic Games Store, due to Epic not allowing players to roll back updates.
