The main purpose of Golden Seeds is to increase the number of healing flasks you have available to you at any given time in Elden Ring. The more Golden Seeds you find throughout the Lands Between, the more flasks you will have access to when you're out in the world. Of course, given their usefulness, developer FromSoftware has not made them easy to find.
In order to find a Golden Seed, you will need to search far and wide in every region of the game. They're only found at one specific location on the map. This location is hard to miss but also difficult to find just by riding around on Torrent in Elden Ring.
Getting more Golden Seeds in Elden Ring
In order to find a Golden Seed, you will need to find a small golden tree sticking out of the ground. This is unlike the massive Erdtrees that are sprouting up all over the Lands Between.
Instead, these trees are much smaller and won't be able to be seen unless you're right next to it or in a large field.
Once you spot one of these trees, you can go right up to it and interact with the item that's at the foot of the tree. This item will be a Golden Seed, which will be stored in your inventory until you're ready to use it.
There's no real trick to finding these gold trees in Elden Ring. They're at random spots all over the map and the only way to truly find them all is to explore the map in-depth and look in every nook and cranny.
However, there will be no Golden Seeds found in dungeons or inside buildings. They're mostly found out in the open, near enemy encampments or around high-levelled enemies.
If you want to use your Golden Seed, just go to a Site of Grace, rest at it and then select the option that says "Flasks." Pick the option that says add charges to Flasks and you'll be prompted to use your seeds. Be warned, though, as you do this more and more you will need more Golden Seeds to add charges to your flasks.
