From Motive Studio and Electronic Arts, Dead Space Remake seems to be a faithful recreation from the ground up, with some additions here and there. The game releases on current-gen consoles and PC only, leaving the PS4 and the Xbox One consoles behind.
It looks incredible from the trailers we've seen for this sci-fi horror. Be that as it may, players on consoles might want to know what the graphics modes for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are, including details such as frames-per-second (FPS), resolution, and if the game has Ray-Tracing.
Dead Space Remake Graphics Modes For PS5 & Xbox Series X
The Dead Space Remake on consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X) has two graphics modes to choose from.
The developers recently revealed the details on the two Dead Space Remake graphics modes, including what you can expect in terms of fps, resolution, and which mode has Ray-Tracing. Check out the details below.
- Dead Space Remake Quality Mode: 30fps, 4K resolution (UHD) with Ray-Tracing enabled.
- Dead Space Remake Performance Mode: 60fps, 2k resolution (QHD)
These graphics mode options do seem quite standard for optimized titles on the Xbox Series X and PS5. We would have loved to see a balance graphics mode with lower resolution, 60fps, and Ray-Tracing. Maybe the developers can add this sometime in the future?
There doesn't seem to be any difference between the PS5 and Xbox Series X. We will have to wait and see how the performance is on both consoles in real-world tests once Dead Space Remake releases on 27 January 2023.
For those on PC, you can obviously tinker with a tonne of settings.

Dead Space Remake on Xbox Series S Graphics Modes?
At the time of writing, there is no mention of the graphics modes for Dead Space Remake on the Xbox Series S, Microsoft's less-powerful current-gen console.
The publisher only mentions that the modes outlined in the previous section will be available for "console players," and while we do know the game is only available on current-gen consoles, we can't help but wonder if the Xbox Series S graphics modes might have, at the very least, lower resolution.
So there you have it, the graphics mode options, including resolution, frame rate, and Ray Tracing for Dead Space on PS5 and Xbox Series X. We will endeavor to update this article once more details on the Xbox Series S graphics mode options for Dead Space Remake become available.
