With Dead by Daylight set to release a new licensed killer in March 2025, players have been wondering who the new face in the killer roster might be. Some leaks have pointed to the new DBD chapter featuring Tokyo Ghoul. Here's everything we know so far about the possibility of a Tokyo Ghoul x Dead by Daylight chapter, and what it could include.

Tokyo Ghoul x Dead by Daylight Leaks & Rumors

Rumors started swirling around about the possibility of a Tokyo Ghoul chapter in October 2024, when members of the Dead by Daylight team, including Game Director Mathieu Cote, joined Blood Party Friday to discuss the game. They mentioned that more Japanese licensed content is on the way, suggesting that the door could be open to an all-new anime chapter.

While there are countless anime series that would fit well in Dead by Daylight, it seems pretty likely that the chapter could be Tokyo Ghoul. This year is Tokyo Ghoul's 10th anniversary, and fans are still looking forward to more major reveals surrounding the anime.

One of those upcoming reveals could definitely be that Tokyo Ghoul is coming to DBD, featuring a character from the show as the new Killer. If Tokyo Ghoul did join Dead by Daylight as a new licensed chapter, it seems pretty likely that we'd see Ken Kaneki as the Killer.

While Tokyo Ghoul could be an interesting new anime addition to Dead by Daylight, it wouldn't be the game's first anime collab. DBD introduced Attack on Titan skins for both Killers and Survivors, and even added a Castlevania chapter with skins from the Netflix anime.

Given these leaks, it seems like there's a possibility of Tokyo Ghoul coming to Dead by Daylight at March or at some point in the future. However, it's important to note that none of this information is confirmed, and Behaviour Interactive hasn't officially stated that a Tokyo Ghoul chapter is coming to Dead by Daylight. As more information surrounding the possible collab comes to light, we'll be sure to update this article accordingly.
