The Walking Dead Could Be Coming To Dead By Daylight

The Walking Dead could be coming to Dead by Daylight in a future update, potentially bringing Daryl Dixon to the game after Norman Reedus followed DBD's official Instagram account. Reedus plays Daryl in The Walking Dead, and is also known for his role as Sam in the Death Stranding games.

While Norman Reedus following the official Dead by Daylight Twitter doesn't confirm that The Walking Dead and DBD franchises are collaborating, it definitely suggests that they could be some time in the near future. When actors follow official franchise accounts, it can often signal that a collab is coming up.

Reedus has previously hinted at collaborating with Dead by Daylight - or at least showed his love for the game - by posting a picture of himself as The Huntress on his Instagram back in 2021.

The Walking Dead is one of the most iconic franchises in horror, so it'd make perfect sense for Reedus to join DBD as Daryl Dixon. However, as we mentioned, Reedus is also largely known for his role as Sam in Death Stranding, and it's quite possible that we could see Sam join Dead by Daylight as a survivor. We could even see Norman Reedus join the game as himself - much like Nicolas Cage plays himself in the Fog - since he's made such a name for himself in the world of horror.
