The Casting of Frank Stone may get its own Dead by Daylight in-game event to coincide with the game's leaked September release, popular leaker LeaksByDaylight is suggesting in a new X/Twitter post.
The information comes shortly after data miners found some new information about the game in the current Lara Croft PTB's code. Not only does the code mention that the game will be available for pre-order sometime soon, but it also hints at a potential Casting of Frank Stone event or "in-game promotion".

So far, it doesn't look like there are any further available details about the event, such as what gameplay might look like or what the rewards may be. It seems pretty likely that Behaviour will at least offer some type of in-game rewards, like player banners, badges, or charms, to promote the upcoming game; DBD and The Casting of Frank Stone are set in the same universe, after all. We may even see the introduction of new characters in Dead by Daylight, that will also be featured in The Casting of Frank Stone (maybe we could see Frank Stone as a Dead by Daylight killer?).
The single-player, narrative based title by Supermassive Games was announced during the game's 7th anniversary livestream, and players have eagerly been awaiting more information since. A gameplay trailer was unveiled during the game's 8th anniversary, but no release date was unveiled until fans found the notes in the PTB's code this week, letting them know it'll be ready for release on 3 September. This aligns with the 2024 release date promised by Supermassive, who also developed Until Dawn and The Quarry.
