Dead by Daylight has partnered up to introduce numerous major licenses to the game in the past year, from the most recent Alien to other chapters like Ringu, Hellraiser, and Resident Evil. With even more licensed chapters planned for later this year, many fans are wondering what they might be - and whether they might include Predator.
A Predator chapter is by far one of the most fan-requested updates to DBD. Here's what we know about Predator in Dead by Daylight, including all the most recent leaks and rumors.
Predator In Dead By Daylight? Leaks & News
It's possible that Predator could be coming to Dead by Daylight in 2023 and onwards, considering that Behaviour has focused on a very sci-fi theme in recent chapters, from The Skull Merchant to The Xenomorph - and their roadmap promises even more licensed collabs later this year.
One DBD data miner and leaker, Leaks by Daylight, noticed that one of the Xenomorph's skins, Grid Xenomorph, is not featured in the chapter trailer, while the killer's other skins are. They suggested that this could be because it is from the movie Alien vs. Predator, meaning that it's licensed Predator content. The Grid Xenomorph does not appear in any Alien content other than Alien vs. Predator collabs (including the novel, movie, and game).
The presence of this licensed Predator content in the game could suggest that even more Predator content could be added to the game in the future, perhaps in the form of a full Predator chapter with a killer, survivor, and map, much like Alien.
You can check out the Alien chapter trailer below, featuring The Xenomorph and many of its skins but lacking the Grid Xenomorph skin if you want to see it for yourself:
It's not confirmed that Predator is coming to Dead by Daylight, but it seems that it could certainly be a possibility, given that it seems there might already even be some Predator content in the game.
