Dead by Daylight streamer Otzdarva has recently brought his community together to raise over $11,000 for the American Heart Association to honor World Heart Day 2024. The donation campaign, which is running until 10AM EST on 16 October, has reached $11,650 at the time of writing - 93% of its goal of $12,500.
"I'm extremely surprised by everyone's generosity and very proud of it all," the streamer wrote on X/Twitter, noting that the money had been raised in just a few days.
To celebrate reward milestones, Otzdarva will dye his hair, speed run The Casting of Frank Stone (Supermassive Games' single-player title set in Dead by Daylight's universe), reach Prestige 100 on Jonah Vasquez, and even host an IRL stream with his dog. If the Tiltify campaign reaches its goal of $12,500, he promises to host a 24-hour stream.
This isn't the first time Otzdarva has raised money for the American Heart Association - in fact, the streamer holds annual events taking in donations for the charity, but none have been quite as successful as this one. Last year's event, Mystery Madness 2023, brought in over $5,000, achieving over five times the streamer's goal of $1,000.
