Nicolas Cage joined Dead by Daylight's Fog this month, and his three new perks bring a new style of survivor gameplay to the game, adding elements of variety and spontaneity. Also, with Cage and his perks come a few achievements players can earn while using them in-game.
One of those achievements is called the Second Act achievement. In this guide, we'll take a look at how to get Nicolas Cage's Second Act achievement in Dead by Daylight.
How To Get Second Act Achievement In Dead By Daylight
The Second Act achievement was added to Dead by Daylight alongside Nicolas Cage, and it's easy to get using one of his perks. However, you don't need to be playing as Cage to earn this trophy, unlike Adept Cage. In fact, you don't even need to own him, or any of his perks, for that matter.
Second Act's perk description reads as follows: In public matches, recover from dying by yourself or with help ten times.
To recover from dying by yourself, you can either use Cage's own perk, Plot Twist, or Bill Overbeck's Unbreakable. Some other perks may also allow survivors to recover on their own. Using Plot Twist to down yourself while injured and then picking yourself back up is a great way to earn progress toward this achievement, and you can do so once per match.
It's a little risky, though, so you'll want to ensure you're not near the killer when using this perk. If you get picked up by the killer before you're able to pick yourself up, you won't be able to earn any progress toward the achievement.
While you can pick yourself up fairly frequently by using the right perks, remember that other players are picking you up counts, too. This means that if the killer decides to "slug" you - meaning leaving you down on the ground - other players who dash over to pick you up are also helping you earn progress toward your goal.
That's it for how to get this Nicolas Cage achievement. While you don't have to be playing as Nicolas Cage to get the Second Act trophy, his perks definitely help you out. If you want to get 100% and earn all trophies in Dead by Daylight, you'll need to add this brand-new one to your list.
