Here's when Dead by Daylight's "Lights Out" mode is coming to the game, and what you can expect.

When Is Dead By Daylight Lights Out Mode Coming Out
There's no official release date for Dead by Daylight's Lights Out Mode at this time. However, developers have announced that more info is coming on January 30, suggesting we may get more info or a release date then.
However, it's likely it'll be coming out as early as March 2024, since it was announced in January with developers promising that more information is coming soon.
What Is Dead by Daylight's Lights Out Mode
Dead by Daylight hasn't outlined what their new Lights Out Mode is quite yet, but we can take some guesses, especially based on the trailer they've released.
Since it's a new game mode, gameplay will definitely be altered in some ways - and we can see that the gameplay in the video is darker. "Lights out" might be literal - with a darker overall map, as was one of the suggestions for a new game mode in a recent DBD survey. However, the idea of "light" also applies to generators and flashlights, so perhaps it could also affect these gameplay elements?

For now, all we can do is guess, but we do know that the Lights Out mode will affect gameplay and offer a totally new gameplay loop for players on both the killer and survivor sides.
