Halloween is nearly upon us, meaning that so is Dead by Daylight's biggest event of the year, Haunted by Daylight. The event comes with tons of cosmetics and charms as rewards, a Halloween currency, and a limited-time Event Tome with tons of challenges. Here's everything you need to know about Dead by Daylight's Haunted by Daylight 2024 event, from its rewards and gameplay modes to the limited-time currency.

Haunted By Daylight 2024 Start Time & End Date

Haunted by Daylight 2024 will kick off on 17 October and will end on 7 November. This is one of the longest-lasting events of the year for Dead by Daylight, so you'll have plenty of time to celebrate!

Haunted By Daylight 2024: Rewards & Currency

Dark Trinkets Currency

Just like last years players will be able to earn a special event currency called Dark Trinkets to trade in for the cosmetics. Dark Trinkets will be earned by completing challenges in the Event Tome. Any unused Dark Trinkets will be converted to Bloodpoints at the end of the event. 

Halloween Rewards

Haunted by Daylight 2024's rewards contain new Halloween Sweaters for survivors and Candy Weapons for killers, for a total of 16 brand-new cosmetics.

Haunted by Daylight 2024: Gameplay

The Void Realm & Void Zones

Returning in 2024 is the Void Realm, which allows both survivors and killers to enter a new, unique area called a Void Zone through portals. This year, one portal will always be open, and players can use Void Energy to spawn and open more of them.

A huge difference between last year and this year is that killers can now use their power in the Void Zone. To balance things out, there will be lockers and new pallets in this area.

Esoteric Generators & Hooks

Also returning for 2024 Haunted by Daylight Event are the decorative Esoteric Generators and Esoteric Hooks, which will grant survivors and killers respectively extra points for interacting with them. Players will also need to interact with these objectives to complete event Challenges in the Event Tome.
