Dead by Daylight's Stranger Things chapter has been one of its most successful yet, introducing the iconic characters Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, and the Demogorgon into the Fog. Unfortunately, the DLC was later removed from the game, with little word from developers regarding its return.
More recently, however, notable data miner Leaks by Daylight suggested that the Stranger Things chapter might be making a comeback with a brand-new Stranger Things DLC featuring new characters potentially entering the game's roster.
Is Stranger Things coming back to Dead by Daylight?
In short, yes, Stranger Things likely is headed back to Dead by Daylight. This information was suggested in a leak published late on 26th June 2022 on the DBDLeaks Twitter and the Leaks by Daylight website.
Netflix has contacted Behavior proposing a future collaboration following the discontinued Stranger Things collab.

This means not only ST Chapter coming back, but also new content - character 'Vecna' is part of it.
Thanks to @FNBRintel for contacting me about this.#dbdleaks
The leak suggested that Netflix has contacted Behaviour Interactive, Dead by Daylight's developers, to discuss future collaboration.
- Dead by Daylight codes (June 2022) - Free Bloodpoints and more
- Dead by Daylight Hooked On You: Who Are The Killers?
- Dead by Daylight June 2022 developer update - Perk overhaul, prestige updates, more
- Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade - Bonuses, Offerings, Cosmetics, More
Another collaboration with Netflix would not only mean the return of the original Stranger Things chapter - including Nancy, Steve, the Demogorgon, and the Hawkins Lab map - but also a new chapter altogether. Accordingly, fans can expect the original chapter to return in December 2022.
The leak also mentioned that the upcoming unannounced Stranger Things DLC would feature Vecna, the main antagonist of Stranger Things Season 4. If Vecna came to Dead by Daylight, we would likely see him as a killer.
Although the leak mentioned no new Survivors, fans would likely get new Survivors along with a new killer, too, since almost every chapter features at least one Survivor.
Similar to all leaks, it's important to note that the information is not official and is subject to change. So, take the lead with a pinch of salt.
