Dead by Daylight's August developer update brings some sizable buffs to killers including The Dredge, Doctor, and Nemesis.
The heaviest changes come to the Dredge, who's earned himself a faster movement speed under certain conditions, faster teleport speed, and a lower teleport cooldown.
"We’ve increased The Dredge’s movement speed both while charging its Power and while teleporting outside of Nightfall to give it a slight boost in both strength and feel," developers explained. "The Dredge could have difficulty taking advantage of the reduced visibility in Nightfall due to their loud sound effects when approaching, so we have reduced their volume."
The Doctor also gets some pretty major buffs, with a reduced Static Blast cooldown. This will make the killer much more viable in the modern meta, and will increase his ability to track down survivors.
Developers said that the updates should make the killer's Static Blast "feel better to use."
The changes to The Nemesis are a little more minor, but will still no doubt make him much stronger - he'll need less Mutation Points to level up to Level 2, which developers note will "help him get up and running."
Survivors will also be faced with a longer Hindered debuff when Infected, making it easier for The Nemesis to take down survivors.
Also in this developer update is increased Scratch Marks visibility and some changes to Midwich Elementary School, making the map more accessible vertically.
