All Dead by Daylight players can grab a clean 1 million Bloodpoints just by logging in between 3PM on 26 September and 3 PM on 28 September. Behaviour Interactive is providing the large sum of currency after an outage affected the game for over three hours.
Not only did the outage last several hours, but it happened to be during the middle of a Bloodfeast - which grants 3x Bloodpoints - and a Fragment Frenzy, which grants double Rift Fragments. Not only that, but the recurring Chaos Shuffle modifier is currently active, drawing in even more users and offering an accompanying limited-time event tome.
The lengthy outage prevented users from logging in and taking advantage of these limited-time celebrations. Dead by Daylight usually awards a small sum of Bloodpoints after substantial outages, but it seems that with all the events currently going on in-game, they decided on this hefty sum of 1 million.
Unlike some promotions, Dead by Daylight players won't need a code to get this hefty sum of Bloodpoints. Instead, you'll just need to open up the game, and you'll immediately find them in your inventory.
If you already have over 2 million Bloodpoints or you're approaching that limit, don't worry - log-in rewards like this one don't immediately count towards the Bloodpoint limit, meaning you can get over 2 million Bloodpoints at once. However, you'll have to spend your Bloodpoints until you have below 2 million to be able to earn any more.
