UPDATE - Due to the numerous leaks, Behavior Interactive has brought forward the Dead By Daylight 7th Anniversary Livestream.
Original Story Follows - Dead By Daylight's 7th-Anniversary livestream date has seemingly leaked online this morning, along with a potential piece of key art for Behavior Interactive's upcoming celebratory event.
From the looks of it, a stream or an event will be taking on May 23 (next week) and is promising 'Big Reveals, Game Updates, and More'.
Although we can only guess at this early stage, it's likely that the stream will include not just information on the game's 7th-anniversary event, but also details on Dead By Daylight's next chapter. This of course would mean reveals for a new killer and survivors to be added to the already stacked roster.
In the past, Dead By Daylight has partnered with plenty of famous horror franchises, from the likes of Stranger Things, to Scream, and many fans had recently believed that an Alien collab might have been on the cards this year.
For those who don't remember, last year's 6th Anniversary event was absolutely packed with information. Aside from announcing loads of upcoming content for the Dead By Daylight Roadmap, the team at Behavior Interactive also announced:
- A start date for the Dead By Daylight Anniversary Event, along with plenty of in-game rewards like the Twisted Masquerade masks
- The Dredge Killer in a new original chapter
- Another licensed Resident Evil chapter with Albert Wesker
- Loads of free bloodpoints
- Loads of in-game system changes, including tweaks to prestige & progression, bots and an overhaul of survivor perks and killer perks
- The announcement of Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim
- A Funko Pops collaboration (later cancelled)
- An Attack on Titan collab
Of course, that's just the highlights of what the dev team revealed, but there's no reason to suspect they won't have plenty more to show this year. Thankfully, it doesn't look like we have to wait that much longer to find out what they're cooking.
