Dead by Daylight's highly-requested new 2v8 mode has been quite popular among the game's players since it kicked off this morning - and perhaps a little too popular among killers. Many killer players have complained about the long queue times in the 2v8 mode on social media, leading Behaviour Interactive to make some minor tweaks to the mode by giving survivors some more Bloodpoints.
To help remedy the wait for killers, DBD has implemented a 400% Bloodpoint - or 4x multiplier - bonus for survivors, encouraging players to queue up in that role for those sweet Bloodpoints.
The team acknowledged that "killers are experiencing long wait times" due to a lack of survivors playing, and said they hope that the hefty Bloodpoint bonus will increase the number of players joining the survivor queue.
The bonus even carries over to regular trials for now - so whether you're playing DBD in the new 2v8 mode or just hopping into an everyday trial, playing survivor will temporarily grant you a pretty huge Bloodpoint bonus. In fact, it's the biggest Bloodpoint bonus developers have ever offered for players joining a certain queue. However, BHVR clarified on X that it's "still subject to change" depending on the number of players playing both roles" - so if you're looking to earn Bloodpoints fast, now's a great time to hop onto the game and play a few survivor matches.
